Additional grain storage equipment includes a system for grain transport and unloading.

It is responsible for a wide range of conveyors and elevators with capacities from 40 to 300 t/h for the horizontal and vertical transport of all types of grain. Mainly used for filling and emptying silos and as conveyors in all kinds of process routes (e.g. drying or cleaning processes).

Such devices save valuable time and money.

Grain conveyors, however, are not only equipment serving large silos and warehouses. Grain handling equipment is also needed on smaller farms storing grain, as well as where feed is produced and used.

Let's look at the most commonly used types of grain conveyors.

Types of conveyors

The most common conveyors used in grain transport are devices using various types of tendons. In most cases these are conveyor belts and chains. Conveyors can transport grain horizontally and vertically.

Conveyors of various types are used for horizontal grain transport.

Belt-type grain conveyors

Belt-type grain conveyors are used to transport granular products such as seeds, cereals, pellets, etc. The belt conveyor is completely self-cleaning. Energy consumption as well as material consumption is minimal.

In a belt conveyor, the belt is contoured in the shape of a trough that moves on support rollers.

This shape allows a high performance in relation to the belt width. Belt widths range from 300 mm to 800 mm. In turn, the maximum length is up to 60 mb. Belt conveyors are available in covered or uncovered versions with capacities of up to 400 t/h.

Scraper grain conveyors

Scraper grain conveyors are the ideal solution for horizontal and slightly inclined transport of materials such as cereals, seeds, pellets, etc., where completely enclosed, dust-tight transport is required.

Scraper conveyors are made in a modular system and can be supplied in the exact lengths required, up to a maximum of 50 m, with capacities ranging from 30 to 400 t/h.

Grain screw conveyors

Grain screw conveyors are designed to efficiently and reliably transport a wide range of agricultural and industrial products. Grain auger conveyor - its design consists of inlet and outlet sections, trough-shaped sections and a drive unit.

Units and additional equipment are manufactured both for single conveyors and for complete systems of large turnkey projects. The capacity of the equipment is variable and dependent on various factors, i.e. model, size, filling, material, etc., up to a maximum of 40 t/h.

Grain elevators

The following are used for vertical grain transport bucket elevators. Designed for vertical transport of products, such as grain or granules, to a height of max. 35 m.

This equipment is distinguished by its high durability, operational safety and low energy consumption in relation to performance. Bucket elevators are available with capacities from 10 to 400 t/h. The bucket elevator is made of highly durable material and can be installed both indoors and outdoors. The units are supplied in easy-to-install galvanised modular sections, or alternatively painted.
