DUST EXTRACTION SYSTEM

Dust extraction installations are used in seed and grain storage lines, where dusts and pollutants are generated in large quantities and pose a danger or even a risk of explosion. The installation helps to maintain the health of workers, improves the quality of the air in the surroundings and prevents machinery and equipment failures.

Dust extraction installations include cyclones, fans and filters. The capacity of the installation is determined by individual customer requirements.

Operating principle

The process begins by collecting dust and other pollutants from the air at the point of generation. The collected pollutants are routed to the inlet system of the dust collection plant.

The air inlets are located in the areas where the pollutants are generated. In a dust extraction plant, the pollutants pass through a cyclone or air filters that remove the dust from the air, leaving it on its surface or in special bags. After passing through the cyclone or filters, the pollutants are removed from the air and the cleaned air is exhausted to the outside or can be reinjected into the premises as required.

Dust and dirt accumulated on filters or in bags must be removed regularly. This can be done using automatic blowing equipment or manually, depending on the type of dust extraction system.
